Thoughts!
Italy was everything I expected and then some. Over two weeks, I spent time in Milan, Pavia, Florence, Portofino, and Tuscany. The views were incomparable, the people generous, and the gelato churned to perfection! I feel so grateful for the opportunity to explore such a lovely country and work closely with the amazing people at my internship!

A cheeky piece located at the heart of the Milan Stock Exchange. The severed fingers convey a clear message about 1930s Fascist Italy during a time of great economic strife. Such a layered piece—it still crosses my mind from time to time!
